CSAtravel Inc. ("we," "our," or "the Company") establishes the following Privacy Policy ("this Policy") regarding the handling of users’ personal information in the services ("the Services") provided on this website.

Definition of Personal Information

"Personal information" refers to "personal information" as defined in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan and includes information about a living individual that can identify the specific individual through the name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact information, and other such details. Notwithstanding the above, the following cases are not considered provision to third parties:

  • When personal information is used jointly with a specified party, and the user is notified or can easily access the following information in advance: the fact of joint use, the items of personal information jointly used, the scope of joint users, the purpose of use, and the name or title of the person responsible for managing the information

Disclosure of Personal Information

Upon request from the individual, we will disclose their personal information without delay. However, we may withhold part or all of the information if any of the following apply, and we will notify the user accordingly:

  • When disclosure is likely to significantly impede our business operations

Notwithstanding the above, we generally do not disclose non-personal information such as access logs and device-specific characteristics.

Correction and Deletion of Personal Information

  1. If a user finds that their personal information held by us is incorrect, they may request correction, addition, or deletion ("Correction, etc.") in accordance with our prescribed procedures.
  2. If we determine that it is necessary to respond to the request, we will promptly make the necessary Correction, etc.
  3. We will notify the user promptly if we make the Correction, etc., or if we decide not to do so.

Suspension of Use, etc. of Personal Information

  1. If we are requested by the individual to suspend or delete ("Suspension, etc.") the use of their personal information on the grounds that it exceeds the scope of the intended use or was obtained by unlawful means, we will promptly investigate the matter.
  2. If we determine, based on the results, that the request is justified, we will promptly carry out the Suspension, etc.
  3. We will notify the user promptly of the result of the Suspension, etc., or of the decision not to take such action.
  4. However, if the Suspension, etc. would involve a large cost or is otherwise difficult, and alternative measures can be taken to protect the user’s rights and interests, we will take such alternative measures.

Changes to This Policy

Except where otherwise provided by law or in this Policy, we may revise the content of this Policy without prior notice to users.

Unless otherwise specified by us, the revised Privacy Policy will take effect from the time it is posted on this website.
